Scheduled Maintenance

In our efforts to continually enhance the functionality and value of our WAM!NET® Services, we will be performing scheduled maintenance on:

  • Date: Saturday, August 15, 2009
  • Start Time: 08:00 CDT (GMT-05:00)
  • Duration: 6 hours


During this scheduled maintenance period, we will perform general maintenance which will impact several WAM!NET Services. Highlighted below are some of the benefits that will be available after this release.

  • File Transfer Checksum Enhancements: Additional checksum validation to further ensure integrity of delivered files.
  • Improved Info Center Reporting Performance: A maximum of 1000 results per page will display to facilitate faster on-line reporting.
  • Password Management Notification Changes: Minor language improvements to the Reset and Expired Password Notifications.
  • Transmission Director X (TDX) version 3.3.2 for PC and Mac: Support for installing on Windows 64 bit operating systems and extended support for authenticated proxies.
  • FTP Hot Folders will Display Time in GMT: Time will display in GMT.
  • Support for Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5: The WAM!NET web interfaces will be supported on Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5.

Availability of Services during Maintenance?

  • Starting at 8:00am CDT, all WAM!NET Direct! Services boxes will be offline for approximately 30 minutes for software maintenance updates. Any packages currently shipping will restart after the upgrade.
  • WAM!NET Central Services will be unavailable during this window, including: Internet Gateway, Info Center, WorkSpace, Content Studio and Content Submission Services.
  • Direct! customers sending to other Direct! sites will be able to send files; however, package tracking and notifications will be unavailable during this time.
