We will be performing maintenance during this time to enhance the WAM!NET Services.

New Features and Updates:

  • Enhanced identification of file types in libraries

      We have enhanced file typing in libraries to more accurately identify certain supported image formats, text files, and password protected PDFs. File conversion utilities have also been updated to better handle a wider variety of supported formats.

  • Improved reliability of forwarding files to FTP servers

      The reliability of the workflow routing automation that forwards received packages of files to an FTP server is being improved through updates that address certain problematic situations.

  • Security updates

      We continue to sustain service security by upgrading several software components to current versions.

  • Application Server Upgrade

      We have invested in a significant application server upgrade that will better enable us to maintain compatibility with evolving technology standards over time.

Availability of Services during Maintenance

  • Within the 6 hour maintenance period, all Direct! and Direct!IP file transfer appliances will be offline for up to thirty (30) minutes for software maintenance updates. Any packages currently shipping will restart after the upgrade.
  • All WAM!NET Central Services will be unavailable during this window.
  • File transfer appliances will be able to send files to other file transfer appliances, however package tracking and notifications will be unavailable during this time.
