In our efforts to continually enhance the functionality and value of our WAM!NET® Services, we will be performing scheduled maintenance on:

  • Date: Saturday, January 24th, 2009
  • Start Time: 08:00 CDT (GMT-05:00)
  • Duration: 1 hour


During this scheduled maintenance period, we will perform general maintenance which will impact all WAM!NET Services.

Notice of Upcoming Retirement of Legacy Users Link in WAM!NET Info Center(SM)

The legacy Users link in Info Center will no longer be available as of March 14, 2009. All user management functions must be done using the User Management link. As an interim step to this change, beginning January 24th a message will display when selecting the Users link reminding users of the upcoming retirement of the legacy link and encouraging them to begin using the User Management link which will take them to the improved User Management tool within Info Center. This message will provide the user an option to select the User Management link or proceed to the legacy Users link.

A User Management Training Guide will be available on WAM!NET Service Portal under Info Center Latest Info. Savvis is also offering several web-based User Management Overview sessions. If you and others from your organization are interested in attending a session, please contact us at and include Company Name, Contact Name, Phone Number and expected number of participants. We will get back to you on session options.

Notice of Upcoming Retirement of Transmission Director X(SM)(TDX), version 2.6

TDX 2.6 will be retired as of March 14, 2009. Beginning January 24th a warning message will display when users launch the application. Users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of TDX available on the Info Center Software Downloads page.

Availability of Services during Maintenance?

All WAM!NET Central Services will be unavailable during this window, including: Internet Gateway(SM), Info Center, WorkSpace(SM), Content Studio(SM) , Service Portal (SM) and Content Submission Services(SM).
