Submission Icons for the WAM!NET® Content Submission Portal(SM) Service

We are very excited to introduce Submission Icons for the WAM!NET® Content Submission Portal(SM) (CSP) Service. Submission Icons provide a simple drag & drop interface, that allows your customers the ability to send you files from their desktop, via the Internet, to a pre-configured Submission Resource, en route to a Purple Box or Storage Resource. They provide a very convenient, secure and reliable method of aggregating content from your customers, partners and vendors onto your Purple Box. Submission Icons are Macintosh and PC compatible. more »

WAM!NET® Transmission Director X(SM) v2.3

In this newest version of Transmission Director X (TDX) we are introducing Drop Boxes, a new Package Delivery e-mail notification and support for Apple Macintosh computers with an Intel chip. Users can save a populated Create Package window as a Drop Box icon on their desktop to be used as a short-cut method of sending content by dragging and dropping files directly onto the Drop Box without having to repopulate the create package window. Drop Boxes are ideal for frequently sending files to the same destination. When creating a package of files to send, users can now choose to be notified by e-mail when the package of files has been delivered to its destination(s).

WAM!NET® Content Studio(SM) Enhancements

The newest release of Content Studio, version 4.3, includes upgraded transcoding capabilities, simplified URLs, and basic support for XMP metadata extraction. Transcoding performance has been significantly improved and we have updated support for the newest codec versions of Windows Media, Real Networks, Quicktime, and Flash. A new simplified URL interface provides direct and secure access to assets stored in Content Studio. This allows Content Studio to act as an origin server for our Content Distribution Network (CDN) and permits heavily accessed content to be efficiently delivered to end-users around the world. more »

Transport Resources can now be configured to automatically purge collected packages from the Purple Box on a more frequent basis than those that have not been collected.

Improvements to WAM!NET® Internet Gateway(SM)

We continue to improve the new Internet Gateway service based on your feedback. In this latest release, version 4.3, we have added a new Package Delivery e-mail notification, support for package downloads in Mac native ZIP file format and a new auto-login URL interface. When creating a package of files to send, users can now choose to be notified by e-mail when the package of files has been delivered to its destination(s). The new auto-login URL interface allows subscribers to access the Internet Gateway Services in a secure fashion from their own web site.
